About Us

Incorporated in 1986, Kemp Inc. is the parent company of Kemp Construction, Inc., We are a general and public utility contractor specializing in wastewater and water facilities. We are licensed in both North Carolina and in South Carolina. We are insured and bonded. Kemp Inc. Project Managers all have a minimum of 20 years experience in the water and wastewater industries.

Kemp Inc. has contracted services to public utilities and private industries throughout the Carolinas and Virginia, providing a wide range of services including process equipment installation, building construction, concrete construction, underground utility piping, filter installation and rehab, chemical systems, instrumentation and control work, welding, plant and equipment maintenance, concrete structure leak repairs, coatings and sealants etc.

Kemp Inc. is a member of and actively involved in AGC, NCAWWA, NCRWA, NCWOA, ASCE, SCWWA/WEASC and SCRWA.

Field Crews

Kemp Inc. field staff is trained in confined space entry, trench safety and other OSHA safety training. Field staff responds regularly to emergency situations in the water and wastewater industry. Kemp Inc. service trucks are equipped with 8000 pound boom cranes, confine space equipment, welding machines; cutting torches; air compressors; safety equipment; pumps and hoses; rigging; small power tools, hand tools etc.
